On April 18, 2026, the New York District Boys and Girls Association Drum and Fife Corps performed at the 21st Sakura Matsuri at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, hosted by the Japanese American Association of New York. Twenty-three members with eleven staff members performed the songs “Mickey Mouse March,” “Sukiyaki,” and “Sweet Caroline.” Our members performed joyously with the cherry blossoms in full bloom.

Afterwards, our members were able to celebrate Oyasama’s birthday with a cake and picnic.

2026年4月18日、ニューヨーク地区少年会の鼓笛隊は、ニューヨーク日系人会が主催する、フラッシング・メドウズ・コロナ・パークで開催された第21回さくら祭りに出演しました。当日は、メンバー23名とスタッフ11名が参加し、「ミッキーマウス・マーチ」「スキヤキ（上を向いて歩こう）」「スウィート・キャロライン」の3曲を演奏しました。満開の桜に囲まれて、メンバー一同は喜びにあふれた演奏を披露しました。

演奏後には、ケーキとピクニックで教祖のお誕生日をお祝いすることができました。
