TO LIVE WITH JOY

In the teachings of Tenrikyo, the ultimate state of living is called the Joyous Life. The Joyous Life is the reason for our existence.

The Two Day Course (formerly Three Day Course) is designed to help one develop the ability to live with joy while learning the importance of the Service.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

PROGRAM:

  1. Lectures: God the Parent, Oyasama, The Service, Gratitude: A Thing Lent, A Thing Borrowed, and Salvation
  2. Group Activities: Hinokishin, Service (Seated Service, Yorozuyo), Service Instruments, Discussions
  3. Participants must be 17 years old or older. 

LOCATIONS: Tenrikyo Mission Headquarters in America (in Los Angeles) and Tenrikyo Mission New York Center

DATE: The Two Day Course is offered annually in late March. The course was most recently held on March 21-22, 2026. Please look forward to next year's course.
