The Joy Workshop was established as an introductory course for presenting the basic elements of the teachings of God the Parent to individuals with little prior knowledge or experience with Tenrikyo.

The participants of the Joy Workshop have varied personal styles and life experiences that will make their experience participating in the Joy Workshop unique to each individual. Each participant has the common goal to learn more about the teachings. Through the combination of listening to the teachings and learning how to apply the teachings in their lives, participants will gain the understanding of how to live a more joyous life within the 90-minute workshop.

The Joy Workshop is open to anyone 15 years of age and up. The workshop can be held virtually via Zoom and in-person per request.
