Here is our personal recommendations of cafes, conveniences, and cool shops while you are in Tenri?  (More to come in the near future)

Convenience Stores

Keywords: decent coffee, found at many locations

The ubiquitous convenience stores are located in Tenri as well. The closest one to 38 Moya is a 7-minute walk to your left as you leave 38 Moya. There are also two convenience stores within Tenri Station. Along the street north of Church Headquarters (Kita-Oji street), there is a Lawson and a 7-Eleven. Towards the south, there is a Family Mart and another 7-Eleven as well.

Most of these places have "konbini coffees," which are inexpensive and not-too-bad coffees that are grinded and brewed individually by machine.

CoCoFun

Keywords: at Tenri Station; places to hang out with kids; free WiFi

Located in the plaza immediately before Tenri Station, CoCoFun is an interesting mixture of cafe, children's play structure, exhibits, and communal space. Its purpose is to promote a lively communal space with ties to Tenri's unique history, culture, and geography.

According to its website, CoCoFun boasts, among other things, Ten.Ten.Cafe, an outdoor trampoline area, a waiting room offering free WiFi, and a nursing room for mothers with infants

Ramen Culture in Tenri

Keywords: ramen, ramen, ramen

Ramen can be found in abundance in Tenri, but the two most famous places are Tenri Stamina Ramen and Tenri Saika Ramen. The first is found in the Tenri Hondori while the other is located on the sidewalk across from the Tenri Post Office (evenings only). Both have locations elsewhere as well.

There are certainly many other places in Tenri. Here are our favorites. Do you have one that you'd like to recommend?
