On August 15, the Tenrikyo Young Men’s Association of North America (TYMANA) held its annual convention at the Mission Headquarters in America. Sixteen members gathered from across the diocese, joined by Bishop Fukaya, his wife, and members of the Board of Directors. Together, attendees received an inspiring message from Association President Daisuke Nakayama and welcomed Mr. Yuji Nakagoshi from the Young Men’s Association Headquarters in Jiba.

In the afternoon, participants engaged in group discussions to connect with one another and exchange thoughts on how to better support this path moving forward. The convention concluded with an evening barbecue, providing a relaxed setting for former and current TYMANA members to share memories and stories.
